The Council has a 2008 Strategic Plan that is implemented by four committees.
The Issues Committee consists of stakeholders that are interested in considering the issues, both environmental and economic, that impact the Tualatin Basin. If they deem it necessary, they bring the issues to the full Council for consideration and direction.
The Restoration and Enhancement Committee consists of stakeholders that are interested in guiding and participating in the restoration and enhancement activities of the Council.
The Education Committee consists of stakeholders that are interested in teaching and outreach activities in the basin. They produce material to share and sponsor and/or participate in workshops.
The Steering Committee consists of the officers and several stakeholders who meet monthly to help guide the Council. They are responsible for the capacity building portion of the strategic plan.
Each month a roving stakeholder joins the committee meeting.
