Coho are often seen creating redds just below the Scoggins Dam, a structural barrier to migration.
This shows the stream looking upstream towards the dam.
- Early October (exact date unknown) – Water District employee, John Goans, reported that a fisherman hooked two big fish that broke the line in this spot. They were probably Coho salmon
- Week of October 17th – Tom Murtaugh and Josie Thompson (ODFW) surveyed the creek. They didn’t see any salmon but did see some possible redds.
- November 9 – Chris Toole surveyed the creek. No salmon were seen but there were some possible redds.
