Welcome Stream Stewards!
What is a STREAM Steward ?
Individuals or groups who are interested in a stream restoration site
and are willing to volunteer to maintain and monitor the site over time,
while the young native plants become established. The Tualatin River Watershed
Council (TRWC) NWSA AmeriCorps Stewardship Coordinator will provide training
to learn about the restoration site, its history and maintenance needs.
Who can be a STREAM Steward ?
Individuals and groups willing to be trained and making a commitment
to a particular restoration site can become a STREAM Steward. Any child
with an adult is welcome to participate. Your neighborhood, civic, religious
or work group that wants to work together and “adopt” a site,
can become a STREAM Steward Group.
We are currently recruiting STREAM Stewards to adopt two high priority
Tree for All sites, Banks Creek in Banks and McKay Creek in North Plains.
To learn more about Tree for All program , contact Clean Water Services

you to apply!
As our program develops, we will continue to connect Stewardship Groups
with parks throughout the Tualatin basin.
